Analytics research for Wharton Executive Education programs — applied statistical modeling, survey methodology, and ML for programs serving executives from Aramco, T-Mobile, and Apple
Statistical Consulting for Academic Researchers
Whether you're stuck on your methods chapter, getting pushback from reviewers, or just need someone who can handle your data correctly — I work with PhD students, postdocs, and faculty at every stage of the research process, from analysis design through final write-up.

Methods & Tools
Sound Familiar?
Most researchers hit the same wall. You have the data, the question, and the deadline — but the analysis is the bottleneck.
Choosing the wrong model can undermine your entire methodology. You need someone who understands the difference and when it matters for your specific study design.
Whether it's a defense date, a manuscript submission, or a grant report — unfinished or unreliable analysis creates real risk. It needs to be clean, correct, and defensible before it goes anywhere.
Translating statistical output into clear, defensible language — for a committee, journal reviewers, or leadership — is its own specialized skill. Getting the interpretation wrong is just as costly as getting the analysis wrong.
How I Help
For PhD, DNP, EdD & Master's Students
I help graduate students build a methodology their committee can't poke holes in — from survey design and variable operationalization through data structure, assumption testing, and committee feedback prep. You'll leave each session knowing exactly what you did and why.
For Theses, Dissertations, Manuscripts & Grant Reports
I run the analysis, check assumptions, and produce well-documented output with interpretation written in plain language — formatted so your committee, reviewers, or institutional stakeholders can follow the logic. You keep full ownership of all final work.
For Postdocs, Faculty PIs & Research Teams
I help research labs and faculty integrate analytical support across multiple projects — exploratory analysis, dashboards, applied modeling, and data workflow setup using R, Python, and Excel. Grant-fundable, scope-defined, and built around your team's needs.
Every engagement is scoped and quoted in writing before work begins. No hourly billing, no surprises.
How It Works
Tell me about your project and where you're stuck. No commitment, no pitch. Just a clear conversation about what you need and whether I'm the right fit.
I send a written scope and fixed price before any work begins. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices. You know exactly what you're getting and what it costs.
I run the analysis and deliver well-documented results with interpretation, formatted for your committee, journal reviewers, or organization.
Questions after delivery? I'm available to walk through results so you can present and defend your work with confidence — in front of your committee or anyone else.
About
I founded Forrest Analytics Group to give graduate researchers and academic teams access to serious analytical support — without the waiting lists, the overhead, or the jargon that makes statistics feel inaccessible.
I hold an M.S. in Business Intelligence & Analytics (Data Science specialization) from Saint Joseph's University, where I teach AI for Business as an Adjunct Instructor. My research work includes analytics support for Wharton Executive Education programs serving executives from Aramco, T-Mobile, and Apple, as well as end-to-end dissertation support at Duquesne University — from survey design and data cleaning through assumption testing and final interpretation.
I work with researchers who are serious about their data and need someone who will take their project seriously — whether that means passing a committee review, getting a manuscript accepted, or making a real decision with real data.
Work With MeHave Questions?
No. I do not write content on behalf of students. All support is consultative and educational, focused on research design, data analysis, and interpretation. Students remain the authors of their work.
In most cases, yes. Universities and IRBs generally allow external methodological and statistical support — including survey design guidance, data preparation, assumption checks, and help interpreting results — similar to working with a university statistics consulting center or an external methodologist. If you're unsure, I'm happy to help you review your program's policies.
I support researchers at any stage — including survey design (Qualtrics), power analysis and sample size planning, data cleaning, assumption checks, statistical analysis (regression, ANOVA, SEM, HLM, factor analysis, and more), interpretation of results, and preparing materials for committee review or journal submission.
Yes. While dissertation support is the most common engagement, I regularly work with postdocs, faculty PIs, and research labs on manuscript analysis, grant data reporting, and ongoing multi-project support. Scope and pricing are always discussed during the free consultation — project-based work can also be documented for grant reimbursement.
Yes. The Methodology Session ($150/session) is designed specifically for researchers who need targeted help without committing to a full project engagement. Many graduate students start with one or two sessions to get their analysis on track and then run the rest themselves. I also offer an academic discount — just mention it during your consultation.
Timelines depend on scope, but most projects range from 1–6 weeks. Turnaround is discussed and confirmed upfront — I don't take on work I can't deliver on the agreed timeline. If you have a hard deadline, tell me at the start and I'll let you know honestly whether it's achievable.
Pricing is based on project scope, not hourly billing. After a short call to understand your needs, I provide a written estimate before any work begins. No surprises. The free 30-minute call is always the first step.
